Friday Favorites

I took a bit of a blog hiatus over the holidays, but I'm finally back at it!  Now that I've had a solid month to test out my Christmas gifts, here are some of my new favorites!

 

 

1.  Ugg Lizzy Moccasins

 

A new mom friend of mine is always wearing these shoes, and I finally asked her where they were from - they're Ugg Lizzy Moccasins!  I didn't know Uggs made shoes that didn't have visible white sherpa lining making them look like slippers or snow boots.  These moccasins are perfect because they're warm, just as comfortable as wearing slippers, but are cute enough to wear out of the house with jeans!  I'm seriously in love.

 

2.  Clarisonic Mia

 

I'm definitely late jumping on the Clarisonic bandwagon, but I'm glad I finally got one!  It's basically like an electric toothbrush for your face, but I love how my skin feels after I use it!  It does a much better job of removing my makeup than my old facewash routine did, and it does a great job of keeping my face exfoliated as well.  Mine was on sale at Nordstrom for less than $80 around Christmas.  Also, FYI, I got the Mia 1 - the Mia 2 and Mia 3 have 2 and 3 speeds, respectively, but I can't figure out why you'd need more than 1.

 

3.  Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace

 

The Kendra Scott Rayne necklace is another one of those things that I've admired on friends for a long time and FINALLY have my own!  I have the white one, which matches everything!  I love how it makes any old outfit look a little more polished when I put it on!

 

4.  Mom's One Line a Day Journal

 

I've never been into journaling - I'm just not big on it.  Since C was born, I've been much better about jotting down milestones and doing lengthy monthly updates, but I wasn't capturing the day-to-day little things.  I love this Mom's One Line a Day journal - it's only $10 on Amazon and has a page for every day of the year, with each page having spaces for 5 years' worth of notes.  I think in 5 years it will be so fun to look back and see what happened on that same day 5 years ago!  I'm tempted to buy several more of these for the rest of C's childhood in case they stop making them at some point in the future.

 

5.  Stella and Dot Engraveable Necklaces

 

My husband bought me this necklace with my son's birthday engraved on it.  Such a special gift - I love it and wear it every single day!
