I'm linking up with Momfessionals, Grace and Love, A Little Bit of Everything, The Diary of a Real Housewife, and September Farm to share my Friday favorites!
1. The forecasted "cold front" in Dallas this week!
I am so excited for the first "cold front" (interpreted loosely...this is Texas we're talking about) of the fall in Dallas this week! I'm sick of wearing shorts and can't wait to break out the fall clothing!
2. Aggie Football
I can't pretend to care at all about football (whether professional or college) unless the Aggies are playing! 2 games into the season, and I'm so glad they're doing so well - especially after everyone expected them to tank after losing Johnny Football. I'm excited about another great season, and can't wait to wear maroon to work every Friday. Speaking of which....
How did I not know these existed? I had to buy a pair of the A&M Toms to wear throughout football season! They're only
$21 on Zulily this week and they have a bunch of different colleges. Love!!
4. Dough Pizzeria
If you're local to the DFW area, check out Dough Pizzeria Napoletana - it's at Preston and Forest. I went there for the first time this week for a girls' night and loved it! They specialize in Neopolitan style pizzas, which were amazing - I loved the Preston Hollow pizza. We also split a couple of burrata mozzarella appetizers and salads, and everything was delicious!
5. Pumpkin recipes taking over Pinterest
I love seeing all the pumpkin recipes that everyone is pinning right now! Even though it's still 100 degrees in Dallas, something about pumpkin-flavored breakfasts, desserts, and drinks makes it feel like fall! I'm trying out a new pumpkin bread recipe this week - my first pumpkin recipe of the season!
We're in BIG D too!!! And I love everything you just posted! Will definitely be checking out that pizza joint! Thank you!
ReplyDeletePumpkin yumminess!! Maybe I'll start baking this weekend!!! Those are such great prices for toms!!
ReplyDeleteI have made at least 3 pumpkin recipes already. This weekend, I am making more low-fat pumpkin bread and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies! I can't help myself (plus I like to pretend it's healthy because it has pumpkin in it).
